Liverpool and Wingers. Seems to be a common occurrence now that the world is aware that Mane is off to represent Senegal at the AFCON so the constant links to a winger or an attack minded player seems to be arriving everyday. Add Jese Rodriguez to that list. The young Spaniard joined PSG in the Summer from Real Madrid but has not made too much of an impact at the Parc des Princes. Add to that the imminent arrival of Julian Draxler to PSG and young Jese’s future may not be as bright as he first thought when moving from Madrid to Paris. Is this where Liverpool come in?

Left Madrid for first team football

A fee of £21mil saw the talented wideman leave Madrid fro the want of first team football but the players in front of him already limited that from the beginning. Going from Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale ahead of you to Angel di Maria and Lucas is not much of a difference as all 4 listed players are truly elite players. The Madrid contingency may be more known and have more prowess but the Paris lads can hold their own. Liverpool sweeping in for a cut-fee of £15mil would be very smart and these seem to be the rumours from the Mirror and Metro. Liverpool’s rivals for his signature, at this current moment in time, are Middlesbrough. This could ease the issue for Liverpool as they would be at the front of the cue, it is just whether Klopp deems Jese worthy of the Red shirt.

Welcomed at PSG but saying farewell soon?

As with most players linked, he fits the bill in terms of the type of player he is and what he can provide for Liverpool down the wings. Quick, pacey, agile and it looks like the deal for Quincy Promes is not going to be happening in January so could Jese be the player to bought in to replace Mane while he is representing his nation at the AFCON? All signs point to yes but nothing is guaranteed within Football. I, personally, would love to see an exciting player like Jese arrive at Anfield to get the buzz going round Anfield once again.
