Jurgen Klopp said yesterday that he believes it is unlikely that Lucas will leave Liverpool this Transfer Window. Lucas, whose contract expires in the Summer, was rumoured to have agreed a deal with Inter Milan earlier in the window but those rumours have somewhat faded in the last few days.

Experience required? Nearly 10 years at Liverpool

Lucas staying, in my opinion, is something that is required for Liverpool as they push towards a Champions League place and potentially the league title. Having experience in the squad is something that Liverpool lack at the moment and Lucas has this in spades. His character and views will be key for Liverpool moving forwards, even if it is only for the remainder of this season.
