Everything eventually comes back…this is the case with Dahoud and LFC. Liverpool were linked with him in Klopp’s maiden Summer Transfer Window but nothing materialised. Now, with Dahoud not getting the game time he wants and being aware of other club’s interest, a move could occur. Only problem is that Liverpool are one of 3 clubs after the German International. The other 2 being Chelsea and Barcelona.
Having faith in Klopp and believing that he can sign the players that he wants, Dahoud would be a good fit for Liverpool. He could slot into the deep-lying playmaker role that is currently occupied by Henderson which would allow the Captain to push forward up the pitch. Lowe, Germany’s Manager, has picked the 21 year old various times to play alongside Liverpool’s own German, Emre Can. Fee wise, not as much as one would think for a capped German International. I would say roughly £15mil-£20mil for him if Liverpool did persue him.
Should Liverpool persue him? To stop a rival team from strengthening, yes and to enhance the current squad we have, yes. Liverpool’s depth is something that has been lacking as we have not been in the tournements to warrant depth in the squad. Dahoud could play anywhere in Mid or Att and could slot in at RB if it ever came to that. An interesting target in my opinion
