What is the problem with Sakho? You’d think, with Liverpool’s defensive frailties, it may be worth bringing the Frenchman back into the fold but Jurgen Klopp does not think so. Liverpool have won 1 game in the last 8, having lost the last 3 and the one they won being against League 2 Plymouth Argyle but Sakho is still not being considered. According to the LivEcho Journalists, the only possible inbound/outbound figure from Liverpool this Transfer Window will be Mamadou Sakho. Should probably stop writing these articles to be honest if that’s the case…
Sakho spoke to Canal Sport over the weekend where admitted that he broke club rules which caused the rift with Jurgen Klopp. Turning up late to training seems to be the mistake that triggered Klopp’s final nerve and, from there, Sakho was not even considered for the first team. Sakho was removed from the U23’s game vs Man Utd with the reason thought to be that Liverpool want to sell the player within this Transfer Window.
Personally, I don’t think Liverpool should sell Sakho and should implement him into the Liverpool line up as soon as possible but Klopp evidently thinks otherwise. Why would I argue with him? Swansea have been linked with the Frenchman but it seems his £105,000 a week wages are a huge stumbling block for the Welsh team. Sakho has openly expressed to return to his hometown of Paris one day but that, according to him, is several years away. Wherever he ends up, YNWA Mama.
