Lucas could become the 3rd player in this decade to have a Testimonial for 10 years of service to Liverpool. Recently scoring his 5th goal for Liverpool when captaining the side against Plymouth in January, the Brazilian is the most experience player that Liverpool had at the moment. The Brazilian was the recipient of a bid from Inter Milan but it seems that Lucas wanted to stay at Liverpool which is hugely commendable. Despite this, come the Summer, should Liverpool sell Lucas in the Transfer Window?

Neither: This will seem to be a strange decision but it seems that Lucas’ contract will expire in this coming Summer so there is no need to sell the Brazilian. Klopp seems to building Henderson as the DM and Emre Can can also play as one as well as Dejan Lovren, if the worse came to worst. There have been no rumours of an impending Contract Renewal for Lucas and does not look like there will be one anytime soon. The Brazilian has been a fantastic player for Liverpool for this decade and is deserved of a Testimonial but maybe not a contract. Whatever the ending result is, YNWA Lucas.
