Being the focal point of Liverpool’s attack after one of the greatest strikers in Premier League history lead the attack must be tough job… Daniel Sturridge was learning on the job as he was part of the SAS (Suarez and Sturridge) where he scored 21 Premier League goals as Suarez banged in 33. But, since the departure of the Uruguayan, Sturridge has been a shadow of his former self. Injury has cost the man almost 2 years of his prime years which has resulted him being almost 3rd choice striker behind Firmino and Origi so should Liverpool cash in on someone who can still be the most lethal striker in the Premier League on his day?

Sell: Sturridge is good… when he is fit. And he isn’t fit for most of the season which is a huge issue. When he is fit, he has to be nursed into the game and cannot play the full throttle style that Jurgen Klopp wants him to play. When West Ham are willing to spend £30mil-£40mil on a striker, why should Liverpool not go for it? No reason not to. Especially one that won’t be starting games regardless of his fitness.
