Ben Woodburn became Liverpool’s youngest ever goalscorer when he scored against Leeds in the 87th minute of the EFL Cup Quarter Final. The Welshman beat the record that was previously held by Michael Owen by 98 days as he scored his goal when he was 17 years and 45 days old. Now in the U23 set up, the youngster is occasionally called up for a bench place during the Premier League games and was a regular for the side during Liverpool’s run in domestic cups. The Liverpool faithful saw how good he could be so maybe it is time to cash in on his name already?
Keep: No need to sell youngsters when Klopp is here. This is his forte. His bread and butter. If Woodburn is seen as a talent now, Klopp will turn him into a world class player in the future. The youngster is only 17 so there is plenty of time to see the best of young Ben Woodburn.
