Just having a quick run through with regards to each of the positions that were mentioned previously. Starting with in between the sticks.

Simon Mignolet – Sell

Bit of a no-brainer this one despite Mignolet being the No.1 for Liverpool for the majority of the season and having signed a new deal last season. Inconsistency has cost the man dearly in my opinion and Klopp won’t allow for this as he is trying to build a spine for Liverpool which starts in the goal first

Loris Karius – Keep

The future of Liverpool in most people’s opinion despite having a rocky start to his Anfield career. Klopp bought him for a clear reason and his stand out performances for Mainz proved that Karius can be a world class talent. It is a case of when rather than if Karius will come good for the Reds.

Danny Ward – Keep

Having player for Wales at a young age of 22 and being given a new contract prior to him being loaned out to Huddersfield, Ward is clearly someone that Klopp is keeping tabs on when out on loan. It looks like both Ward and Karius will be battling it out for the No.1 spot next year and it will be very interesting to see the young stars go head to head.

Adam Bogdan – Sell

Bought in based on a good performance against a deflated and under performing Reds team, Bogdan was a very surprising signing when it happened and is still baffling to this day. Currently out injured, it is expected to see the Hungarian shipped off as soon as the Summer Window opens and as soon as he is fit of course.

Alex Manninger – Keep (Coach eventually)

It is entirely plausible that Manninger was bought to become Goalkeeper Coach after signing a 1 year deal with the Reds. Think this may be the only reason for keeping the Austrian on board seeing as he has not started a game since signing for us.
