Wingers seem to be something that Liverpool lack. Playing Attacking Midfielders out wide seems to be the way to compensate for it but out and out wingers is hard to come by, especially for Liverpool.

Sadio Mane – Keep

Liverpool’s best player. Nothing more needs to be said seeing as Liverpool are a completely different animal with him in the starting 11. He has naturally made the Right Wing position his own and he was sorely missed when he was representing Senegal in the African Cup of Nations in January.

Sheyi Ojo – Keep

Someone who can be moulded into a fantastic player and Klopp could be the man to turn him into that player. Ojo has been injured for some parts of the season but he has been making appearances for Liverpool’s U23 set up over the last few weeks. Hopes are high for this youngster, especially seeing as Klopp has recognised his talent on many occasions.

Lazar Markovic – Sell

We needed Wingers, Markovic was recalled and sent out on loan. Says it all really. Markovic has the potential to be something special, sadly, it doe not seem as he will become that at Liverpool.

Ben Woodburn – Keep

At 17, Woodburn could well and truly be the future of Liverpool moving forward. Scoring on his debut and becoming the youngest ever goal scorer for Liverpool has already seen him write his name into the record books but there could be so much more coming from this bright young talent.
