Striker. The main man. The focal point. Usually a Number 9, the Striker is a vital position for all teams, Liverpool’s goal threat from the striker position has diminished somewhat since the departure of Luis Suarez but there are 3 striker that Liverpool have in their ranks at the moment.
Daniel Sturridge – Sell
Some Liverpool fans may disagree with this one but the best decision for both club and player would be to sell Daniel Sturridge. He has a lot of market value on him seeing as he is English and can be lethal when he plays. But that is the problem, he is not fit enough to play and, when he is, he is no the type of player that will bust a gut as he is aware of how quickly he could become injured. West Ham look to be the team that could be Sturridge’s next stomping ground next season.
Danny Ings – Keep
The striker could have been Klopp’s perfect number 9. Quick, strong, agile fantastic engine but alas, Injury cost him almost 2 seasons under Klopp. Klopp has maintained that Liverpool will stick with Ings during his injury and he could be a catalyst for good things moving forward.
Divock Origi – Keep
The big Belgian has been in and out of the Liverpool team but he knows what Klopp wants. Even putting on muscle for the German manager, Klopp is aware of the commitment that Origi posses and this only bodes well for the Belgian moving forward as a Liverpool player. At 20, Origi has nothing but time…
